Team GB cyclist Jason Kenny has broken the Olympic record to progress to the next round of the men?s sprint event. Kenny?s technique was near perfect as he hardly got out of the saddle to get his gold medal surge off to the perfect start in the velodrome at the Olympic Park. World champion Gregory Bauge of France finished second in a time 9.952 seconds, while Australian Shane Perkins was third fastest.
